Socialite Zari Appointed Uganda’s Tourism Ambassador

Socialite Zari Hassan has landed a deal with the Ministry of Tourism to become the new tourism Ambassador for Uganda.

After reaching an with the Tourism minister Honorable Godfrey Kiwanda the beautiful socialite is now set to traverse the country on a familiarization tour of Uganda’s tourism sites including game parks and heritage sites.Some of the notable tourism sites Zari is expected to visit include Murchison Falls National Park, Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park, Kidepo Valley National Park and the Source of the Nile, among other tourism sites.

Thereafter, Zari like other tourism ambassadors is expected to ‘take’ these places and more, to the countries she would visit.

Uganda, named the Pearl of Africa is generously endowed by nature– the more reason visitors are interested in finding out more about this tourist destination and Zari’s appointment as ambassador can only bolster the tourism potential in Uganda, given her following and exposure on the international scene.

It is important to note that just of recent, CNN named some places in Uganda among the top destinations in Africa.

Among the places was Kidepo Valley National Park which was named the second most beautiful park in Africa, out of the top eight safari destinations.
