Famed for his efforts to promote the welfare of others, especially by the generous donation of money to good causes especially sports, Jack Pemba’s generosity has been misrepresented by a Kampala socialite Vashah Joan.

Last week, Vashah irritated the hell out of Mr Pemba by using his JP  logo on her banners, backdrop and tear drops without his consent while was celebrating her birthday at Nawab restaurant in an event said to have cost over Shs6million with just 40 guests has been warned by Jack Pemba’s lawyers.

That’s not to say her actions implied that the business tycoon was involved in the birthday celebration which was not the case.

Vashah Joan

Socialite Vashah Joan, CEO of Hairgame256 threw a birthday bash at Nawab Restaurant Acacia mall roof top last week.

And definitely check out the notice served to the naive socialite– courtesy of Kiwa Francis Franck Advocates and Alaka & Company Advocates who are the lawyers of Jack Pemba!

“My attention has been drawn to media reports where you celebrated your birthday party at a certain restaurant in Kampala City. Of keen interest to us were banners displayed at your birthday venue, with your photo prominently displayed in the middle of the banner, surrounded by two known logos of Pemba sports Africa on either side of your photo and banner.

The Management of Pemba Sports Africa Limited has never entered into any arrangement whatsoever with you and did not in any way financially facilitate your said event. The Management thus disassociates itself from your event and strongly condemns your unsanctioned and illegal use of the Company’s logos in any of your events.

I have been reliably informed in writing by Mr. Jack Pemba that he did not in any way facilitate or sponsor your event. You are also aware that Mr. Jack Pemba been away from Africa since the February 5, 2017.

You are therefore advised to show respect to Pemba Sports Africa Limited and/or its CEO Mr. Jack Pemba.”

We’ve reached out to Vashah Joan’s … so far no word back.
