Former Rubirizi District RDC Joseph Kule Muranga has been appointed as new Obusinga Bwa Rwenzururu Prime Minister
In an appointment letter dated 10th August 2020 signed by the Rwenzururu King Mumbere Wisely Iremagoma, Muranga replaces the Mbayahi Gadi led prime ministerial committee which has been steering the affairs of OBR since the 2016 Rwenzururu palace attacks.
His appointment has been confirmed by the Kingdom Spokesperson Yona Maate.
According to Maate, the former RDC’s appointment takes immediate effect and it will be followed by a substantive cabinet in the coming days which will be appointed and unveiled by the omusinga.
