Renowned people power critic Andrew Mwenda has registered as a member of the National Unity Platform(NUP).
This happened this morning as Mwenda vowed to stand against Legislator Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine for the party presidential flag bearer in the 2021 polls.
The veteran journalist who picked forms to run as the presidential candidate of NUP also called for the party presidential debate.
“So in the primaries of NUP where they had anointed Bobi Wine as the sole presidential candidate just like NRM, I want to challenge him so there is democracy in these political parties and I think am going to defeat him” said Mwenda in a tweet after joining the party.
