The Executive is scrutinizing three gentlemen as the viable candidates to take up the position of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) executive director after Jennifer Musisi Ssemakula’s resignation.
This comes after she submitted her letter of resignation to the President of Uganda, Yoweri Kaguta Museveni who appointed her in October.
The candidates under scrutiny include; Andrew Kitaka who is the current KCCA director for Engineering and Technical Services, Henry Mayega who is Uganda’s deputy ambassador to China and Patrick Mukiibi, the commissioner for Tax Investigation at Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).
The Minister of Kampala, Beti Olive Kamya is bound to endorse two names among whom the president will choose one as the new appointed executive director.
During the launch of a project to renovate Nakivubo Blue Primary School, Jennifer Musisi urged whoever will replace her to sustain the good things that she did and also emulate where need be for the good of the country.
Jennifer Musisi will leave the position officially on 15th December during her third term as executive director.
