Brian Bagyenda confessed to murdering his girlfriend and applied for a plea bargain in the High Court.
The 29 year old who was accused of murdering his 22 year old girlfriend, Enid Twijukye is seeking a lenient sentence.
The son of Internal Security Organization (ISO) director Col Frank Bagyenda Kaka made this confession before Justice Anthony Ojok Ayu of the High Court in Kampala through his lawyer Nsubuga Mubiru.
Alongside Bagyenda were his co-accused 24 year old Innocent Bainomugisha, a cleaner and 28 year old Vincent Rwahwire, a casual labourer.
It was submitted that Bagyenda killed Twijukye due to suspicion that she was involved with another man.
The case was adjourned to December 17 where the prosecution and defence will submit to court of the outcome of their discussions on the gravity of the sentence.
