A suspected Ebola patient last evening died at Bwindi Community Hospital in Kanungu district.
The Hospital Executive Director Dr Birungi Mutahunga said that the case is still being treated as suspect until test results are received from Entebbe.
Dr Birungi however called on the people to take precaution in their homes, places of work and those traveling.
He said that at the moment, at Bwindi Community Hospital precaution measures have been put in place including the isolation of all people the victim could have had contact with.
Dr Birungi however did not disclose the identities of the victim who is reported to have come from Rugando parish in Kayonza sub county in Kanungu district.
Kanungu district borders with Democratic Republic of Congo where Ebola was reported in August where several people died.
