The fire that broke out at Naalya SS Namugongo at around 7pm on the second floor of the Boys Dormitory was successfully extinguished with no injuries registered.
Police says all the students were in for their preps, although some students got traumatised following the fire outbreak.
“No casualties have been registered however some few students traumatize by the incident have been rushed to TMR and Malcom hospitals. Our fire teams are on the ground ascertaining the cause of the fire,” a statement from police says.
