Musician Bebe Cool has promised to support the family of the late Yasin Kawuma’s family after one of the widows called for help from well wishers.
Yasin Kawuma was one of Bobi Wine’s drivers in Arua during the by-election to replace Ibrahim Abiriga. Kassiano Wadri who won the election has however not expressed his sympathy to the family of Kawuma, somethng that has angered Kawuma’s brother who said Kassiano did not show a good gesture since Kawuma was doing the work that helped him win the election. Kawuma’s brother, in an interview with Salt TV expressed disappointment over Kassiano’s inaction.
Bobi Wine who returned from the US on Thursday has also visited Kawuma’s family.
In a live Facebook video, Bebe Cool who is a known philanthropist said that he had heard the cries of one of the widows on Bukedde tv, adding that he will give a hand to the family.
He also said that President Museveni had extended condolences to the family of Kawuma.
