Singer Moses Ssaloi aka Bebe Cool has said that fellow singer turned politician Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine was just using crutches but was not tortured to the extent that has been portrayed.
Bebe also says that Bobi, while appearing in court was wearing the heaviest shoes in the world, adding that a man tortured as Bobi claimed would never lift them off the ground.
In an interview with Mr Sudhir Byaruhanga of NTV, Bebe Cool calls out the media for not analyzing the way Bobi Wine was moving with the crutches. Bebe Cool was forced off the stage during a show that has Jamaican artiste Tarrus Riley in Kampala.
Bebe Cool, the self-claimed ‘Big Size’ who is very close to President Yoweri Museveni and is a known critic of Bobi Wine, was saved by police from angry revellers who hurled bottles, plastic chairs and other objects at him.
