Youthful city tycoon Ham Kiggundu has said that because of their patience, gentility and honesty, ladies are more inclined to succeed in life more than their male counterparts.
The 34-year-old businessman said this while launching his book on success and failure that dwells more on how he has managed to achieve the level of success he has today.
He said that it does not surprise him that most companies employ ladies ahead of gents because the females are naturally gifted with the ingredients of pulling off success in whatever they do.
“Women today have a better chance of being successful today simply because they are patient, gentle, humble – some of the components required in success of a business,” said Mr Kiggundu.
He however was quick to add that the woman’s strongest attribute is equally the weakest attribute – emotions.
Ham, a law graduate from Makerere University says that a woman who manages her emotions properly is capable of achieving anything in life.
He used to occasion to clarify on the value he attaches to money, saying that those who dish out money have no respect for it, something he says is a sign they didn’t earn the money genuinely.
He said that such people want to show that they belong to a certain group of wealthy people even if they may not be actually rich. He however says he is not the character that discusses individuals.
“If someone has earned money genuinely, trust me, they will always respect it. Rich people don’t throw money around, if I’m to give you money, I will call you and give it to you,” said the businessman who also runs a chain of businesses in the UK, US and South Africa on top of his Ugandan business empire under Ham Enterprises.
