Just hours after a suspect accused police of offering him Shs1Billion to link Lt Gen Henry Tumukunde to the killing of Andrew Felix Kaweesi, a former Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI) operative; Akiramu Sekajja is accusing the Police of inflicting bodily harm on him in an attempt to extract an extrajudicial confession about the former police spokesman’s killing in March.
The officer was reportedly harmed in a scandalous scheme to make him confess that security minister Gen Henry Tumukunde hired him to kill AIGP Kaweesi, reports TrumpetNews.
Sekajja narrated the story to the news site while in police cells at Kira Road Police station in Bukoto, Kampala.
Sekajja reportedly said that he was arrested from Kyazanga in March while driving   to Lwengo for the burial of AIGP Kaweesi.
Sekajja was allegedly taken to Nalufenya where he was subjected to routine torture sessions which resulted into the fracturing of his left leg and right arm.
Just like Pte Galabuzi Musisi as this site reported on Monday, Sekajja was told that he would only be freed if he said that Gen Tumukunde had sent him to kill AIGP Kaweesi.
