Bobi Wine Treason Case Adjourned To December

The Gulu Grade one magistrate Yusuf Ndiwalana has ordered the Arua and Gulu CID officers in charge of the Bobi Wine, 32 others case to appear before court and explain themselves about the accused’s exhibits like phones and cars.

This was after the defence lawyer Asuman Basaalirwa alleged that their phones are used by the SFC to call and arrest their colleagues and their cars redundant at Arua CPS.

The hearing of the treason case against Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine and his co accused has been adjourned till 3rd December 2018..

On Monday, when the suspects appeared for mention of their case, Gulu Grade One magistrate Yusuf Ndiwalana went on to adjourn the case until December 3 at the request of the state prosecutor Julius Ochen.

His team wanted more time for investigations.

Bobi Wine and his co accused were arrested on 13th August, a day before the Arua by-election following that was later won by Kassiano Wadri.

Due to poor health, some of the suspects did not appear in court on Monday and were represented by their sureties in a packed courtroom.
