President Museveni has appointed Mr Sandor Walusimbi as his new senior press secretary, replacing Lindah Nabusayi who sources say has been retired.
Mr Walusimbi who has been the head of communication at State House Anti-corruption Unit was appointed on Sunday to replace Ms Nabusayi.
Nabusayi has been in the position since April 2021 when she replaced Mr Don Wanyama who was appointed the Chief Executive Officer of Vision Group.
Before her appointment, Linda Nabusayi Wamboka initially served as the Presidential Press Secretary a position she has held since 2015 when she replaced Tamale Mirundi. She has since worked diligently which has saw her rise the ranks to Senior Presidential Press Secretary.
