The incumbent President has cancelled all his campaigns in the central region as directed by Electoral Commission of Uganda.
A scheduled plan to Mukono District yesterday, 28th December, was cancelled just as he did for campaigns that were scheduled for today in Wakiso. He has since opted for the option of addressing his supporters off of radio and Tv stations in the respective regions.
Called on for official duty, the President commissioned a 189MW power substation in Mukono District. The sub-station is set to serve the Mukono Industrial Park in Mukono district.
Today, Museveni officiated the groundbreaking for the construction of Kira, Kasangati, Matugga road which will improve traffic flow within and around Kampala and Wakiso easing connection to many areas of the region.
