Museveni roars in Amuriat’s home district as Bebe Cool its paints yellow
The National Resistance Movement (NRM) Presidential candidate Yoweri Kaguta Museveni has concluded his campigns in Teso Sub-region.
Museveni who camped in the region for two days launched a number of projects which include Soroti -Moroto highway, Teju fruit factory and Soroti city market.
He concluded his campigns in Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential candidate home’s district, Kumi.
Museveni who met NRM leaders in the region, warned the people of Teso against voting for FDC’s Patrick Oboi Amuriat.
” Don’t Amuriat just because he is your own son but rather a transformational leader like me. We defeated cattle rattlers in this region and we have done a number of projects for people of Teso and more development projects are coming to transform the people of the Teso sub-region.” He said
Meanwhile singers Bebe Cool, Catherine Kusasira, Phina Masanyalaze, Big Eye and Jingo Show camped in the area and conversed support for the incumbent president.
Under the door to door Campign, they distributed T-shirts and face masks to various Museveni’s supporters around Kumi districts. The supporters included
” I have painted Kumi district yellow. You all know that presidential candidate Patrick Amuriat is a born of this area. But according to what I have seen, we more support than him,” Bebe Cool said.
The president is heading to Bugishu sub-region where he will spend two days before going to Busoga Sub-region.
