JUST IN! Muhammad Segirinya, Allan Ssewanyana Grab Central Region Slots in NUP Primaries After Re-evaluation

The Executive Board of the National Unity Platform (NUP) just passed the results of 15 constituencies in the Central Region which were subjected to re-evaluation.
Muhammad Ssegirinya, and Allan Ssewanyana are among a number of candidates that emerged successful after the second round of evaluation in the NUP primaries.
Ssegirinya scooped the slot for Kawempe North while Ssewanyana scooped that of Makindye West where he is already the Member of Parliament. Other’s include; Kazibwe Bashir for Kawempe South, Kawalya Abubakar for Rubaga North, Nakiyemba Harriet for Masaka District, among others.
The NUP electoral team also mentioned via their social media pages that their list of candidates for the Western Region shall be released soon enough.
They also added that all candidates who are aggrieved by their results have the right to petition the Executive Board where a panel has been put in place to handle all appeals expeditiously.
