Singer turned politician Joseph Mayanja aka Jose Chameleone is currently unsettled as his dream to become Kampala City’s political head draws closer.
This followed the the Election Management Committee of the National Unity Platform to call for Expression of Interest for flagbearers for the position of Lord Mayor, Kampala.
The communications comes due to the stepping down of Hon. Latiff Sebagala who had been declared flag bearer for the Party.
Mercy Walukamba, the Chairperson Elections Management Committee, also informed all prospective NUP candidates across the country who missed out on the recently concluded vetting process to come to the Secretariat in Kamwokya today Thursday 24th/09/2020 for vetting.
Only candidates for the following positions are expected: Members of Parliament (MPs), LC 5 District chairperson and City Mayors.
The process will run at 9:00AM-6:00PM.
