Former Makerere University Scholar Dr. Stella Nyanzi has million reasons to speak all vulgar vocabulary following the successful nomination as the Forum for Democratic Change party flag bearer for Kampala district.

Nyanzi who was facing off with one Madrine Bagaya, emerged as FDC’s favorite since she is a perfect description of Dr. Kiiza Besigye’s defiance system.

Detalied is her accept message, as she vowed to chew all contenders like samosas.

Yesterday, was a very good day in my race for Kampala Woman Member of Parliament (2021-2026)! I got the flag of the FDC, after a rigorous vetting interview and harmonisation meeting. Wuuuuulululululu!

I thank the FDC Electoral Commission for setting up a strong panel of vetters. My only unfulfilled wish was that there was at least one woman on the panel. Otherwise, this panel of four gentlemen patiently asked questions to assess our commitment to the FDC party, our ability to truly represent the party’s values, and our leadership histories.

I also laud my contestant, Madrine Bagaya – a beautiful, articulate, punctual, God-fearing Born Again student of law at Makerere University. She was civil, cordial and supportive, although we were competing against each other. She even advised me to control my temper when engaging with hostile opponents from the other political parties. She promised to pray with me on my journey from prison to parliament.

The FDC vetting panel recommended that Dr. Stella Nyanzi runs for the position of Kampala Woman Member of Parliament, and Ms. Madrine Bagaya runs for the position of Rubaga North B Local Councillor Five. We amicably accepted these positions and pledged to work with and for our political party… I now present myself as the FDC flag bearer for the Kampala Woman Member of Parliament.

The dancing already started with fellow FDC political activists. Who else, is taking me out to dance in celebration of this achievement?
