The Government has launched drones to spray locusts in Teso region (Katakwi district), in a move to stop them.from invading other areas of the country.
It should be remembered that about two days ago, the desert locusts from Kenya where sighted entering Uganda through the Eastern region.
The government put aside about Ugx15 billion and over 36000 litres of pesticides to fight off the locusts.
