The Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations Lt Gen Muhoozi Kainerugaba has expressed confidence in Uganda’s capacity to defeat whoever dares ‘God’s country’.
In his independence day message, the General noted that he never used to believe but he was quick to add that he is now a believer.
“Ugandan strong! I never used to believe it but Almighty God has made me a believer. Nobody can defeat Uganda! This is God’s country. Whoever dares will be crushed to dust! Ruhanga asiimwe. Happy Independence Day! God bless Uganda!!!” Gen Kainerugaba tweeted.
This year’s main independence celebration happening in Sironko district is themed: ‘Consolidation of national unity, security, freedom and prosperity’.
Gen Muhoozi attached photos of a Ugandan flag and individuals who have represented the country at various competitions.
Joshua Cheptegei who was one of the individuals in the photos was on Sunday the winner of the men’s 10,000 race in Doha.
Gen Muhoozi also attached the photo of two Ugandan children—Ezekiel and Esther who won the first-ever East Africa’s Got Talent in Nairobi, Kenya.
