Lt. Col. Edith Nakalema, the head of the State House Anti-Corruption Unit, is set to hold meetings with Ugandans living in the United Kingdom as she broadens efforts in the fight against graft.

The meeting is scheduled for Thursday, September next week at the Uganda High Commission in London.

According to an invitation letter sent to participants, the meeting will be informal and cordial, as Col Nakalema and team seek to understand any queries that may be raised.

The purpose of the engagement is to also understand corruption-related challenges the diaspora dwellers face back home and how, working with Col Nakalema’s team, they can be resolved.

Col Nakalema and her team have been traversing the country, investigating, sensitizing and urging Ugandans to shun and report corruption.

The team has been to several districts and various schools across the country.

Below is the invitation sent to Ugandans in the UK ahead of Col Nakalema’s visit.
