The Police in Maziba sub county in Kabale district have arrested and detained a woman together with her son and 4 other people over the murder of her husband.
Kigezi Regional Police Spokesman Elly Maate has confirmed that Joy Akampurira, aged 49 , her son Manzi Brave were today Oct 22nd arrested after the lifeless body of Jack Baturoha aged 72 , was discovered about 300 meters from his home.
Others arrested include Richard Kuribakanya, Robert Mwesigwa, and Edison Turyakira all residents of Rugarama village in Kavu parish in Maziba sub county.
Maate said that the woman was last evening seen with her husband in the neighboring trading center.
However the two later separated as they went home although she has failed to explain the details of her separation from her husband who was discovered dead.
Reports from Ruhama village however indicate that the deceased has been having long standing domestic wrangles with his wife.
Maate said that a case of murder registered under reference No SD 03/22/10/2018 will help in investigation.
