Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine is set to break musical concert records after deciding to take his ‘Kyarenga Concert’ to Namboole Stadium.

The concert is slated for October 20th, 2018. The singer who has been tipped for the presidency by several prominent Ugandans including DP’s Paul Kawanga Ssemogerere and former Supreme Court judge George Kanyeihamba will be the first musician to have his concert at the stadium.

The stadium has a sitting capacity of over 30,000 people. Of recent, musicians have been showing their popularity by holding concerts at venues with huge capacities.

Top musicians in the country such as Jose Chameleon and Bebe Cool and other international artists like Nigeria’s Wiz Kid have filled to capacity the Lugogo cricket oval  but with Bobi Wine taking his concert to Namboole, he truly wants to distinguish himself from the crowd.

It however remains uncertain whether he will be granted permission by Police to hold the concert.

Police has in the recent months halted a number of Bobi Wine’s concerts, accusing the singer of turning his music shows into political rallies and uttering words that are insightful to the public during his performances.
