Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) has met his US based International lawyer Robert Amsterdam who was barred stepping foot in Uganda.
The two met yesterday in Nairobi Kenya. They were joined by Nicholas Opiyo and Andrew Karamagi who are also on Bobi Wine’s legal team.
Opiyo said in a tweet that the meeting was aimed at drawing a strategy for the ongoing treason case against Bobi Wine and his colleagues before the Gulu Chief Magistrates Court.
“Because one of the lawyers has been declared persona non grata (PNG) by the Ugandan regime, part of our legal team strategy meeting had to be held in Nairobi, Kenya,” Opiyo tweeted on Saturday.
