Former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) president, Maj Gen Mugisha Muntu has said that the in fighting in the biggest opposition party in Uganda started in 2010 when he became president.
While unveiling his new political formation, Gen Muntu said that when he lost to Dr Kizza Besigye on two occasions, he went behind him and supported him.
Gen Muntu added that even when he was president of the party, he swung all the support behind Besigye’s candidature in the 2016 elections.
He however says he did not enjoy the same treatment from his colleagues.
Gen Muntu was flanked by members of the civil society, opposition MPs, Independents and some NRM MPs.
