Singer Eddie Kenzo seems to be out to back the forces of change with his latest song ‘Mbakooye’ a Luganda word to mean ‘I am fed up of you’.
Eddy Kenzo who usually sings about love, partying and life stories has now thrown his hat in the political ring with ‘Mbakooye’ a political song condemning the current regime.
The song was released at the time Bobi Wine and his colleagues were arrested last month.
In the song, Eddy Kenzo expresses his dissatisfaction with the members of parliament whom he accesses of passing ‘useless laws’.
Last evening, Kenzo was one of the artists that performed at Gravity Omutujju’s concern where he performed the song.
He also told revelers to pray for Bobi Wine as they wait for regime change.
Kenzo said that he had been warned against presuming the song but he said he would perform it even if it means being arrested.
