Security operatives have picked Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi from Entebbe Airport and driven to an unknown destination.
It is believed that the MP is being driven to his home in Magere-Wakiso district.
After his arrival, Kyagulanyi was picked and forced into a waiting army vehicle before it sped off.
Meanwhile, soldiers have been seen flogging people who have lined up on Entebbe Road to catch a glimpse of the MP who has been in the US for three weeks.
The is also heavy deployment in several parts of the city including Kamwokya where the MP has a chain of businesses.
Several people including children in the slum can be seen staring open-mouthed at the guns and the armed-to-teeth soldiers matching in files patrolling the various parts of Kamwokya.
Some youth peep through their makeshift shelters to be sure of their safety. There is heavy police and military presence in the area ahead of the scheduled return of Robert Kyagulanyi, the Kyadondo East Member of Parliament.
