Arua Municiaplity MP elect Kassiano Wadri has been ordered to stay away from his constituency and to refrain from holding any celebratory processions, as this could interfere with the case investigation.

If there is anything that necessitates his presence in the three months, the judge said, he must ask for court permission.

“I find that it is desirable in the interest of completion of this case, that we have an environment of calmness in this area so that all parties prepare their cases without any interruptions,” the judge ruled.

“I find persuasion in the request by the prosecution that the Hon MP elect restrains himself from the constituency until investigations are done, then he can go back to his normal life.”

The released suspects were ordered to report regularly to the Magistrates Court.

Meanwhile the High Court in Gulu granted bail to Kyadondo East Member of Parliament Robert Kyagulanyi (Bobi Wine) and eleven others, arrested following the Arua Campaign Violence two weeks ago.
