Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi aka Bobi Wine who was arrested as he attempted to check in at Entebbe airport to fly abroad for further treatment yesterday has just been cleared to leave the country, this website has learnt.
Kyagulanyi and his co-accused are facing treason charges and were granted bail on Monday this week.
Since his release on Monday, he has been admitted at Lubaga hospital and was taken to Kiruddu hospital last evening.
At the time of publishing this story, Francis Zaake who was also blocked yesterday was recording a statement and our source said it was not yet clear if he too will be permitted to travel.
“And finally Bobi Wine cleared to travel. But we can only be sure when his flight takes off. He’s on the way to Entebbe Airport,” our source said.
