Mr.Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu popularly known as Bobi Wine has been arrested today morning at Kira Division police
He was arrested as he tried to address his supporters at Kasaganti and whisked away from Kasangati Police before being detained at Kira.
TheUgandan understands Bobi Wine was arrested after he refused to follow police orders instructing him to abandon a scheduled campaign rally in favor of Museveni who is scheduled to campaign for NRM candidate today.
Kenneth Lukwago Anderson says ‘’Mr Robert Kyagulanyi was earlier arrested from Kasangati and now detained at Kira Division police. The Electoral Commission now says that Kyagulanyi`s Rally is supposed to be in Gayaza not Kasangati. That is why he was arrested. But arresting a candidate on the final day is NOT good at all.’’
