Police in Mpigi District have arrested and detained 42-year-old man over unnatural sexual acts.
Sources in Mpigi narrated to this news site that the suspect is a resident of Bukomma Village in Kituntu Sub-county, Mpigi District.
Sources say that the 42 year old was found behind a big bush on Saturday afternoon making love to a cow, an act that is condemned in the bible.
Mr Jaberi Ssebiranda, the owner of the cow told our reporter that he caught the suspect red-handed after his cow mooed repeatedly in an unusual way which forced the owner to run to the its rescue.
The suspect pleaded with the owner for mercy but Mr Ssebiranda who thought the cow has suffered a snake bite took the matter to the authorities to the “teach the offender a lesson.”
Residents wondered why a man of the suspect’s caliber would mount a cow yet there are very many women in Mpigi.
Previously suspects charged with bestiality, the act of human being having sex with an animal have always blamed the strange behavior on the rampant spread of HIV AIDS.
In some countries like Canada, sex acts with animals are legal although in others it is prohibited with severe punishments such as prison sentences and heavy fines.

In other instances some communities take the law in their hands and beat up the perpetrators. For example in 2013,Police in Matete, Ssembabule district, rescued saved a 20 year old man from being lynched by an angry mob after finding him red handed having sex with a cow.
