Kampala Capital City Authority Football Club (KCCA FC) can feel the momentum building as we head into the final stretch of preparations for what promises to be a dynamic and memorable 2017 Total CAF Confederation Cup first leg playoff.
The Ugandan champions who dropped from the CAF Champions League said match day tickets for the April 8th clash with Egyptian side El Masry are already on sale and were moving very fast.
“It’s very exciting to see anticipation building and tickets selling well. People have already bought many tickets,” said Clive Kyazze, KCCA FC Head of Marketing and Media. “KCCA FC Chief Executive Officer David Tamale and all the over officials have asked our gallant fans to go out the and buy their tickets early to avoid last minute disappointments, like the last time against Mamelodi Sundowns when many people were left out.”
“CAF only gives us a mandate to allow in 5600 spectators in the stadium and those are the tickets we have printed like their last two games against CD Primero de Agosto and Sundowns.”
The tickets that are going for Shs10, 000/- in the Kirussia, Shs20, 000/- in the ordinary stand and Shs50, 000/- in the VIP area are being sold at eight Shell Petrol Station (Select Shops) around Kampala.
The selected selling points include; Shell Capital (Kampala Road), Shell Lugogo, Shell Kawempe, Shell Wandegeya, Shell Kibuye, Shell Bugolobi, Shell Kabalagala and Shell Nakawa.
“The crowd support we received the last time was incredible and helped us play well despite the final result, and I know the fans will do the same this coming weekend,” Mr. Kyazze added.
