There was free drama at Hotel African as two female ministers fought over a microphone.
While lands mister Persis Namuganza insisted that her colleague was delaying the meeting, ICT minister Aidah Nantaba insisted that she was “tackling national issues”
Ms Nantaba accused Ms Namuganza of behaving like an LC1 chairman of a village rather than a minister after Namuganza told her to wind up her speech.
The meeting had been called by Lands Ministry and the Cabinet Minister Betty Amongi was in attendance. The main agenda was to forge a way forward on the rampant evictions in Buganda.
Ms Nantaba had gone half way her speech but Ms Namuganza seemed irked by some of the things her colleague was pointing out.
