Woodball takes final 2016 bend on Entebbe beaches

It will be business as usual when top players attempt to outdo others in the the fourth and final beach Woodball circuit resume’s this Sunday at Sports Beach Entebbe.

About thirteen teams have confirmed to take part in this edition among them; Bank of Uganda, Botladz Woodball, Kampala International University, MUBS, Ndejje Corporate club, Ndejje University, Reiguer’s, Ndejje Woodball club, St. Joseph’s Technical Institute, Kisubi Stroke, UNEB and Zoe Woodball club.

Ndejje University team has dominated the Beach Rankings and still stands the team to beat by arch-rivals Ndejje Woodball Club and Botladz Woodball Club while in the Corporate rankings, it is St. Joseph’s Technical Institute the biggest challenger in both men and ladies category while Bank of Uganda, Ndejje Corporate Club and Stroke Woodball Club lie in the wings to grab any opportunity waiting.

The highlight of the weekend will be the males’ matchups between Adupa Joel, Atamba Onesmus and Kawumba Ronald the defending champion.

The hardest games in the ladies’ competition will see reigning queen and Ndejje University engineering student Joan Mukova battle world renowned Lillian Zawedde and Nabaggala Sandra for this year’s bragging rights.
